Serialisation prints a unique code at each pack level and verifies it is readable. Aggregation links those codes together, unit to carton to shipper to pallet, so the relationship survives after packs are closed, stacked and shipped.
Yes. Tunnel scanner arrays, handheld readers, print-and-apply applicators, reject mechanisms, conveyors and station controllers are scoped, supplied, installed and integrated in the project. We run label placement and read-rate trials on your own cartons first.
Yes, and many sites do. Manual bench stations with handheld scanners suit low-volume or variable SKUs and build the same hierarchy a tunnel builds. The software layer and EPCIS output stay identical, so upgrading later is a hardware change.
Both are modelled explicitly. A partial shipper is committed with its actual declared count rather than rejected. QA sampling removes units through controlled disaggregation with a reason code, so batch reconciliation still balances.
Yes. We integrate with SAP, including SAP ATTP, and with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and Navision, Tally and legacy systems. Batch and dispatch data flow in; pack hierarchy, SSCC and shipping events flow back out.
Both are supported, and most clients run a hybrid. A site-level server sits inside the plant so stations keep working during a network outage and events buffer until connectivity returns. Residency terms are fixed at design.
A single-line pilot is usually commissioned within eight to fourteen weeks of requirement sign-off, depending on scanner and applicator lead times, conveyor modification and your validation protocol. Remaining lines follow in phases.
The system moves into an agreed annual maintenance contract covering response times by severity, preventive maintenance of scanners, applicators and station hardware, spares, software updates and EPCIS format changes. New SKU pack formats are included.
